Jeff was very friendly and helpful, and speaks excellent English. We cycled to Le Chateau Rivaux along the cycle path. Our lock did not work but Jeff arrived within 20 minutes to sort it out. Great service!
We have just finished our first cycling trip to the Loire Valley. Finding Jeff and La Petite Reine was pure chance when we started planning our holiday, but we are so glad we did. Communication with Jeff was quick and easy, and he was so helpful with last minute changes - borrowing helmets rather than bringing them from home and, most importantly, ‘maybe we’ll go with electric bikes after all.’ We had a great week and would have no hesitation in hiring from Jeff again or in recommending La Petite Reine.
Nous avons loué 2 vélos électriques. Très bon accueil, très bonnes explications (1ère sortie VAE), vélos en bon état.
Cerise sur le gâteau un professionnel plein d'humour tout en étant sérieux, de très bons conseils concernant les itinéraires. Ça fait vraiment plaisir d'avoir quelqu'un de sympa et ne se prenant pas la tête.

Un grand merci au gérant pour son accueil et sa sympathie ! Le contact est super facile, on se sent tout de suite bien conseillé et entre de bonnes mains. Les vélos sont de qualité et nous ont permis de faire une magnifique balade. Une adresse chaleureuse qu'on recommande les yeux fermés !
We booked electric bikes in November 2025 for hiring in May 2026. Everything in the booking process went smoothly and the bikes were waiting for us at the agreed time.
Lovely bikes, easy to use and to charge, and very comfortable. All equipment provided (locks, helmets, tools) was great and we hired panniers for ease of travel.

Had a fantastic day with superb quality ebikes from the guys in the shop. Suggested a great route for my wife and I. We ended up doing 55km following La Vienne and the Loire to Brehmont and back to Chinon. Very friendly and highly recommended. We'll definitely be hiring again next time we're in the area.
Jeff and his wife, together with Louis, were fantastic in organising five electric bikes for our family. Jeff suggested a terrific route and we ended up cycling even further because we were having such fun. All equipment provided including rapid puncture repair kits. Highly recommend!

Super balade sur la voie verte grâce aux vélos confortables, fiables et très bien entretenus du propriétaire de la Petite Reine. Ses conseils, son humour et son excellent contact avec les enfants (les grands aussi !) font de ce loueur de vélos un incontournable de Chinon !!! Et en plus il connaît Migré et Parançay !
Amazing e-bikes - really high quality and long range. Wonderful service provided by Jeff who delivered our bikes to where we were staying in Chateau de Detilly. Recommended highly.
We had a lovely ride to Candes St Martin which is beautiful. We haven’t ridden bikes for years but the route was flat and easy with few cars. Also we had electric bikes which definitely helped on the return journey. Jeff was very jolly and helpful. Merci Beaucoup Jeff
